At ETTA: We Believe in Empowerment Through The Arts

ETTA is an inclusive artistic community for people with and without disability labels.

We treat all human beings as Whole, utilizing creative self-expression as a method of mending the past to shape a better future with meaningful access, opportunity and support.

ETTA seeks to provide the tools to creatively express through a wide range of arts! We strive to make our programs fully inclusive- by reaching out and including those without lived experience of disability to participate alongside those with labels. Labels are for jars!

Our Mission:

Empowerment Through The Arts (ETTA) is an inclusive arts community that seeks to deliver the skills and opportunities to all, to practice arts and creativity in its many forms. We do this in a fully inclusive manner to overcome barriers to creative actualization and universal participation for all individuals, with and without lived experience of disability.

Through our own flagship program, The Rainbow Players, and collaborations with other agencies, businesses and arts organizations, we work to ensure inclusive access to the arts for all people, with and without lived experience of disability.

Our Mission

We believe in:

• Taking bold steps toward creating unquestioned access to inclusive arts programming in all publicly offered expressive arts.

• Empowering all individuals, regardless of ethnicity, culture, sexual orientation/gender identity, or ability, to realize their creative potential as Artists.

We achieve this through a wide range of inclusive collaborations to help youth and adults of ALL abilities, to imagine & create;

TO Make Dreams into Reality!

*We are proud to participate in the Card to Culture program, a collaboration between the Mass Cultural Council and the Department of Transitional Assistance, the Women, Infants & Children (WIC) Nutrition Program, and the Massachusetts Health Connector, by broadening accessibility to cultural programming.
